Rajasthan Royals vs Lucknow Super Giants, 64th Match, Indian Premier League 2026

The Rajasthan Royals have struggled in IPL matches played during May, winning only a few games over the years. Now, they will look to change their fortunes when they face Lucknow Super Giants in Jaipur. This match is very important for Rajasthan as their playoff chances depend on getting a positive result.

Rajasthan Royals currently have six wins and six losses this season. They are still in the race for the playoffs and need strong performances in their remaining matches against Lucknow and Mumbai Indians. Winning both games could help them secure a playoff spot, although net run rate and results from other teams may also play a big role.

The team is coming into this contest after three consecutive defeats, including two losses against Delhi Capitals. Their recent form at home has also been disappointing. A drop in runs from Yashasvi Jaiswal, lack of support from the middle order, and poor bowling during the Powerplay overs have hurt the team badly. After a strong start to the season, Rajasthan have lost momentum and will be eager to bounce back quickly.

Lucknow Super Giants may already be out of the playoff race, but they have shown better form in recent matches. Mitchell Marsh has been outstanding with the bat, playing some explosive innings for the team. Josh Inglis has also impressed at the top order, giving Lucknow confidence with the bat. Their bowling attack has performed well too, helping the side win two of their last three games. Although their improvement has come late in the season, LSG will still aim to finish the tournament on a high note.
